Description
Young male New Zealand Sea Lion on the Otago peninsula, New Zealand. These guys are much bigger and rarer than the New Zealand Fur Seals I've also been posting. They are the most endangered species of sea lion I think? Because so many of them get caught in fishing nets off New Zeland. So seeing these creatures was a real treat, we only saw them up close like this once on a very secluded beach, it was so beautiful.Copyright © KJR wildlife photography.
