May have done Have had some tug on my fins during a dive in the Isle of Man, actually. And a few rather larger-than-expected males getting a bit closer than I'd like...

So annoyingly graceful in the water compared to us....

yeah I've heard they can get very bold in the water, not like on land where they almost always run away! guess they 'know' they can out swim us in the water lol

I'd love to see them swimming. need to get a wet suit and go snorkelling I think!

hehe silly seal!

I also lol at all the people commenting that the seal is humping her leg... as this is a lady grey seal
she's just trying to play with the diver, they hold onto each other alot like this when they are playing.

Seals can definatly run! Having been chased by seals on several occasions (one very close call with a beachmaster over 2m long >.< ) I can guarentee they are also faster than humans over a short distance! They sort of bounce, its pretty funny to watch

Lesbian seal action.... you don't get that every day, do you?

I'm looking forward to a bit of something similar... the diving, that is, just to clarify.... I'm not sure I want to be chased by a seal but can imagine that the males get quite territorial/aggresive? We were snorkelling with some seals a few years ago, Pembrokeshire maybe? You could see the males on the rocks getting a bit ar*y about us being there so we decided to back off, they have teeth, after all
