Okay, despite the whole episode concept and how it ended, this scene kind of made up for it.
Everyone expected him to yell sometime after that scene...and surprisingly, Eddy's concern is genuine. Β Especially when Ed and Double-D are his only friends.

Hmm...wonder if I should do a scene like this with one of the more...vulnerable super strength guys when they're distracted and something heavy hits their feet...

This was always my favorite scene, and... don't get me wrong, but I was actually waiting for Ed to yell.
I love this series to death, and this looked really painful, but... dang, Ed, you were strong enough to hold that in. DX
