Hatred And The Monster

Humanity sprawls beneath growing shadows,

That blacken my smallest remnant of happiness.

Pain, suffering, mockery, slander, the final trigger,

In unleashing the demon that feasts within me.

Under abhorrence will be my illicit creed,

For your demise will be your only atonement.

Only hatred became a friend as I cried in sorrow,

Who promised to shield me from the pains.

To only make a beast under its corrupt guidance,

Who kills for vengeance's delights.

All that became of me vanished in the darkness.

So now my fairy tale is over, innocence lies dead.

A heart that once leapt with unending joy,

Now malevolence writhes instead.

All I see in the mirror is just a bloody killer,

But in a broken reflection was my sanity,

Crying for the lost being within me,

As I struggle to find my epiphany.
