One thing I'm loving about your work is the way these robotic contraptions seem to both fit in the environment, while standing out. I guess it's the way their colours blend in for the most part, except for the more robotic elements, in this case its glowing red eye. It also helps that the landscape is somewhat cluttered with its own forms, which help the clearly robotic shapes fit in a bit more.

It looks to me like the robot seems quiet, but lonely. Good choice of scene selection. The forest adds to the effect of being lonely since forests are so dark, big and empty a lot. I also like how you made him bent over and turning his head like he is searching for something or some one.
