Backstory: "Ever since her birth, she never knew who her real parents were. Abandoned as an egg, she was found by a sorcerer by the name of Gregory Dracmor, who was rather puzzled when he found her in the middle of a forest.

And after she hatched out of her egg, she was well treated... until she reached the age of 7, in which her 'father' decided to teach her some magic. That's when things started to go a bit bad for her, as every attempt at that time was a failure of minor measures. And it just kept on getting worse until her 'father' decided to stop and wait a bit longer.

However, at the age of 9, he attempted to teach her some potion creation. The first few attempts went alright, but the last one blew up in Claire's face and caused a bad reaction to her body, resulting with a slightly longer tail and the yellow part under her tail turning grey.

At the age of 13, her 'father' tried again with his teachings, this time going a bit better... for the most part. Amazed by her progress after a few months, he asked her to attempt a level 3 element spell. That was a big mistake as when she attempted to chant the spell, a huge flame engulfed the nearby bookshelf and then exploded, blinding them both and covering them in soot. But there was more to it than just an exploding bookcase. The resulting explosion also damaged her eyesight a bit, forcing her to wear glasses to help her see.

At the age of 14, her 'father' sent her to the nearby magic school as he couldn't afford to replace everything from her mistakes for much longer. And she still has trouble with her spells, regardless of the help she receives. It's possible that she just doesn't have enough wisdom of the arcane, but she still tries her best... when supervised by an expert."

Facts: Even if she does go into deep water, the flame on her tail doesn't go out, thanks to a special barrier that appears when submerged.
