I'm late, I'm late, I'm late for a very important date. Next time, I need to give myself a wider due date.Alright, so the final votes told me that most of you wanted me to draw my character dressed as another character for my Halloween drawing. So this time around, I went with Skullgirls because I still wanted it to be somewhat Halloween related and I'm familiar with oh8's art-style. In this drawing, I have CrimsonShadow as Peacock, while Kia is Ms Fortune, having her head stolen. For those that don't know Ms Fortune can remove her body parts. I have to say I like this Halloween picture much more than my 09 one. Obviously, because I put much more thought and detail into this one.
When I decided to do Skullgirls character and wanted Crimson in the drawing, it was a little troublesome because all the character are girls. So, in the end, I just had him be my favorite character and she isn't as curved as the others. Because he was going be Peacock, I decided to have him not wear his mask, as it just does seem like Peacock without the evil grin of hers.
For Kia's costume, it was a no-brainer. Kia fits the bill for Ms Fortune perfectly for being a beast girl and the way I have her dress.
Lastly, I'm sure some of you may recognize that moon. When I draw I enjoy listening to music and I was listen to this over and over: [link] So, I just went with it. It was that or the Majora's Mask moon. The other little reference is just a simple Durarara!! smoke effect for a dullahan. Though originally I was thinking of putting a pumpkin on her, but I'm okay with this change.
