Description I don't normally speak of these actions to many.. but i've been playing a Nuzlocke run of Pokemon Silver. The older game, i moved all my pokemon to my copy of gold via my brothers old GBC and our old link cables. The rules go:
1. Whenever a Pokemon is knocked out it is considered dead and must be released.*/**
2. You may ONLY catch the first Pokemon in each new route.
3. No healing items outside of battle***
4. SET battle style****

*If all of your pokemon die, it's game over
**You may choose to count poison reducing them to 1 as death
***Pokemon centers are the only healing allowed, aside from any forced healings by trainers.
****Doesn't let you switch pokemon when the opponent is switching:

Hard shit right? Well i tried.. and i've lasted a pretty long time, at the start of the game i transferred over a few pokemon just to give it a little boosted start, an elekid, a magby, a magikarp *Bad idea in retrospect* , and a sandshrew. That mixed in with my Brotodile *goji* i started.. and we lasted a pretty long time, my elekid never reached adulthood.... my Sandshrew ... was at level 23, but i kept him from evolving because i wanted him to learn a move sooner. He died one level later. And before long all i had left was my croconaw, my magby, and a pidgey. I worked and dug and clawed my way back up until i am where i stand now, I still have my starter. But we lost someone special here is my tale:
We'd finally reached the caves of the Indigo plateau, with hardly a single fatality. We were getting a little cut though, but i was only carrying around 4 full restores at the time and hoped for the best. My Magmar was fast... hella fast, faster than any fire type i thought he would be, he always saved my ass in the hard spots.. you know those tight squeezes where you think all is lost. And there it was the cave exit, when suddenly.. my rival comes from the horrid shadows with his hellspawn. We dispatched most of them quite quickly, with a close case on my Feraligator by his meganium. My Magmar kicked it's ass, but then he had something i'd almost forgotten about, a crobat. It was fast, it's poison fang.. sunk in too deep, the poison was too much. I used flamethrower taking him down to half and burning him.. but it was too late next turn came.. and his quick attack criticaled. He was gone, my Feraligator was in the orange and he got attacked by a quick attack aswell and hung on by his teeth "5hp" his crunch took him to the red.. and then the burn kicked in. I won... but i'd lost something i could never get back :.:.
This is his tale.. this is my Magmar. I saved my game and cut it off...
R.I.P Bro

That's why I don't follow rules like that. It's stupid. You loose all these Pokemon that you worked so hard catching and training just because they're not strong enough.

We got to keep on fighting 'till the end, us Nuzlocke runners.

Hit the E4 hard for him.
