Description
I stayed at the Pokemon Center over night, I needed time to recover. I wake up once I saw the sun come out.
Red: *Yaaawn*
I rub my eyes and look around, I see both Poseidon and Perez still sleeping. I return them to their Pokeballs and head outside of the for more training. I train up Perez and he learned the Quick Attack technique. I walk up and I run into none other than my rival, Blue.
Blue: Hey! Red! You're off to the Pokémon League? Forget about it! You probably don't have any Badges, do you? The guard won't let you through without them. By the way, did your Pokémon get any stronger?
We both throw our Pokeballs, I throw out Poseidon and he throws out a small brownish-white bird Pokemon, called Pidgey.

Pidgey: *Cheeep!*
Poseidon: *Turtle noise!*
Pokedex: Use Bubble!
Poseidon opens it's mouth to fire a barrage of bubble that hit Pidgey.
Pidgey: *Chirp!*
Blue: Pidgey! Tackle it now!
The bird Pokemon rams into Poseidon. It does a decent amount of damage.
Pokedex: Hit it with a Tackle Poseidon!
BAM! a powerful hit from Poseidon.
Blue: Pidgey! Sand Attack!
Pidgey: *Caaw!*
Pidgey jumps up and starts flapping it's wings, sending sand towards Poseidon.
Blue: Sand Attack lowers the target's accuracy, making it harder to attack!
I grin, Blue has really gotten stronger. In our last battle all he did was attack now he is also using Status moves.
Pokedex: Poseidon! Use Bubble once more!
Poseidon: *Grunt!*
He shoots Pidgey with the exploding bubbles, it is only doing a decent amount of damage though.
Blue: Sand Attack! Once more!
Pidgey jumps up again whipping up another gust of sand towards Poseidon. Damn! If keeps doing this I'll never be able to hit him!
Pokedex: Use Bubble!
Poseidon fires another bubble barrage towards Pidgey, it's almost over! Just one more attack!
Blue: Tackle!
It rams into Poseidon, his health is also low now. better use a potion, can't take the chance of it missing. I give Poseidon a potion, which heals it up to full health.
Poseidon: *Turtle noise*
BAM! Poseidon is hit by a tackle from behind.
Pokedex: Bubble!
It shoots the bubbles from it's mouth, but it misses it's target.
Blue: Now's your chance! Tackle!
It flies towards Poseidon, but he moves out of the way.
Pokedex: Bubble! Now!
BOOM! Poseidon fires a close-ranged Bubble at Pidgey, knocking it down.
Blue: Pidgey, return. Go Bulbasaur!
I also return Poseidon and throw out Perez.
Bulbasaur: *Hisss!*
Perez: *Skreeek!*
Pokedex: Use Quick Attack
Perez lunges at Bulbasaur at an amazing speed, pushing him back.
Blue: Use Growl!
Bulbasaur: *Rooaar!*
Bulbasaur gives Perez an intense roar, lowering it's attack.
Pokedex: Quick Attack again!
It charges at Bulbasaur at a blistering speed.
Blue: Bulbasaur counter attack with Tackle!
It hits Perez at a close distance, knocking him back.
Pokedex: Perez! Use Quick Attack!
Hits Bulbasaur again.
Blue: Tackle!
Hits Perez with it's body.
Pokedex: Quick Attack!
Blue: Use Tackle now!
Both Pokemon are charging at each other.
BOOM!
They collide, but Perez is still standing it's Quick Attack allowed it to hit before Bulbasaur.
Blue: Awww! You just lucked out! I heard the Pokemon League is full of tough trainers. I'm gonna train and become the strongest trainer in the world, you should try to keep up. Smell you later!
After that I go the Pokemon Center and the nurse tells me that I should go and challenge the Pewter City gym leader. I leave Viridian City and head to Pewter, but I have to go through the Viridian Forest first. On my way to the forest I meet a nice old man and he shows me how to catch Pokemon. I also captured a Pidgey, I named her Nike.
I finally reach the forest, I heard that it is full of Bug-Type Pokemon and trainers to battle.
