First off, Adelaide comic-con was so much fun
Very relaxed environment but I none the less got so much love for the premiere of Adult Zuko. I cannot wait to do a proper photoshoot in this, but all love and thanks to igotsuperpowers.com's photographer Nathan for taking most of these pics.Couple things I still need to adjust but overall I'm still really damn pleased (I didn't have time to re-dye my hair, I'd actually bought hair dye on the bus trip up to Adelaide yet didn't have time to dye it before the con).
FINALLY I get to share (read:gloat) with you guys my wonderful birthday present from last year! Screen used Zuko swords! Such wonderful wonderful awesomely wonderful friends that I love so much got me 1 out of the 3 pairs of blue spirit swords in the world!
There are dints and scratches on the blades made by Dev Patel! (or a stunt actor, or both)
It is quite hard to deny the existence of the 'Film That Shall Not Be Named' when you're holding memorabilia from it in your hands!
For so many layers of leather and linen I didn't actually boil too much as long as I kept moving around.

Hahahaha! I'm so lucky, I own it (my mum gave it to me for Christmas several years ago) but I've never seen it (she promptly warned me not to watch it as soon as she had seen her own copy!). I use it as a placemat. O_O;
Have you ever thought of darkening your hair with temporary/demi-permanent dye for your cosplays? I fee like it would really bring out the Zukoness. :3 It washes out and doesn't have to be too harsh. :3

oh i was meant to dye my hair for this, i'd actually bought some on the way up. I dye my hair the darkest brown i can get quite consistently, just unfortunately was too rushed off my feet finishing the costume to do it before the convention. Some of my other photos show me with better zuko hair (and some with worse).

i've Zukoed enough that it just became a lot easier to permanently dye my hair... just wish i didn't get regrowth so easily. hell, the amount of hair treatments i did to get my hair perfect for Faramir! it would have been cheaper to just buy a full human hair lace front wig.

Wait, do you do it at home or at a salon? It's much cheaper at home... Then again, I dunno why salon ladies always scoff at me when I say I do things at home... I guess it's not as good for your hair? I have no idea... O_o;

mostly i just do it at home, seeing as for Zuko it's just a basic dye job. nothing special. For Faramir i went to a salon, as it was a very specific thing i wanted. salon ladies are just scoffing because they want your monies
