This is such a wonderful piece! You capture Liara's facial features better than just about everyone on this site. I love Liara's expression... so happy and content. Too bad she barely smiles in the game. Hopefully, we'll get the chance to cheer her up in ME3.

I like the pose and the outfit, the hands especially, but the secondary coloring on Liara's face seems like a step down for you.

Its interesting you should say that. I did try something a bit different with the face βdotsβ this time. I donβt know if that has anything to do with what you are talking about. And yes the lighting is a bit off. That is something I need to work on, shadows and lighting.

Yes, you did try something different with the "dots", but I don't think it's a step in the right direction.
In comparison, take a look at this [link] and then this [link] (which, by the way, is totally not a bit of shameless self-promotion) and then look at your piece again. I think you'll see that the "dots" are far too bold and isolated. Now, you can by all means draw what you want, but if you're going for accuracy --which is the message I got from your previous pieces which were fairly spot-on-- then this piece needs work.
