Trials of Youth

Part of growing up is learning about the world around yourself, and how to cope with the many challenges that may rise up. As a tradition, all Vespers must experience a set of trials before they are considered eligible to breed and capable of raising a family of their own. Vespers may also take on job tracks and have access to all quests available in Attica.

Against The World
"The world is not always a calm, peaceful face full of friends and family. There are many creatures and people in the world with malice in their heart, and your Vesper may discover many unfortunate pieces to their land. Depict your Vesper learning a harsh lesson about the world around them, something that makes them realize that not all creatures are good."

Nicholas picked his way through the rocky terrain, deeply regretting EVER deciding to leave his home in the Noca Pines to see new sights.
His paws ached, it was cold, and rocks were getting stuck between his pawpads. He hadn't actually made it far up the base of the mountain yet, but he already hated it.
He grumbled and growled to himself as he walked, shaking loose stones from his paws every now and again as he went.
He lifted his head slowly, catching a strange scent hovering in the still air, Nicholas began to follow it.

He found himself slowly making his way into an alcove in the rocks, the scent growing stronger than ever, and mingling with a sharper, more metalic smell.
Nicholas now stood before a dragon-like beast, that looked almost like it was made from polished stone.

Whoooweee that was fun to make.
Was going to make a speedpaint but it's looking to be more of a hassle because I fucked up on the filetype. :')
Soooo I'm not doing a speedpaint. BUT DEFINITELY FOR THE NEXT ONE I SWEAR.
