Description THANKYOU SO MUCH!

Thankyou for the pageviews firstly! but also.. Thankyou for supporting me, for every comment, for every watch, for every critique, for every smile. You guys rock, and Im not kidding here. YOU ROCK

So this is the captor of my kiriban, ~SphiPony 's stallion character; Admiral. Hes gorgeous right? Bad luck to all those who tried, maybe next time??

So yeah, Admiral is prancing around in the way stallions do... But also why I hose this pose is so I can practise this new style - ive tweaked bits, what do you think? I also went back to the black lineart but thats just a trial... What do you think? Please critique, I need it, I won't feel hurt

So again, Thankyou. I you all!!!

Admiral (c) ~SphiPony

PS.
The colour of the background in this picture is the new colour of the underside of my hair. FEKKIN ROCKS!

Very good, great on the muscle shading, color goes great, in all very good! two thumbs up, you captured the mane and tail perfectly in shading, the eyes look amazing. Its between a little bit cartoony, try a different approach next time if you prefer it to be more realistic. Usually I like to do my art in greyscale and save it , that way I can go back and color it and save a copy. Very good though!

Thankyou! I have heard about the greyscale idea, like how you do it first in greyscale then alter it to colour... you wouldnt happen to know how to explain simply or know of a good tutorial would you?? I only have elemts 7 but it should work alright

Usually for greyscaling i color it entirly grey coloring two layers gray, then I start burning/dodging it then smudging it. I leave my lineart on top clear. Usually I hit multiply on the second layer and color it. I'll see if I can pull up a good tutorial, bcuz my way is kinda mentally retarded and usually im the only one that will understand it. I'll see what I can pull up.

Looks pretty good, with regards to critique it's hard to without knowing what style you are going for, realism or cartoony or maybe something in between?

Somewhere in between. Dont worry, I know you arent an equine artist so you might not know what Im asking for in terms of critique

Maybe but I can hopefully still help a little bit, one of the things I noticed is the legs seem a little flat in shading, so try shading them more like how you would for tubes and add the muscles in afterwards to gain depth, darker torwards the edges, it goes without saying but you need proper muscle definition in semi realism (that's something I can't comment on tho^^)
One other thing that is great for advancing your art is try drawing it with different lighting in mind, which will really make you think about the form and help you realize it more completely and of course do lots of copying from real life or pictures, hope some of this helps^^

Thanks, Im overly concious about shading white/pale grey horses as if you shade too much they look overly grey, but thanks again for the comment and note, it was very helpful.
