My first shot at SAI! I love Lamington and he deserves some more fanart. Originally I was going to just do this as a limited palette piece, but since I wanted to poke around in SAI I figured I'd do it in my usual style. I don't know why I thought multiple light sources was a good idea, but I tried and I think the result is pretty good.Related content

I love this character... for angels and demon alike, he's quite young.
I absolutely bet he had an interesting past, former respect for Vulcanus before the silent betrayal and everything XD.
I wonder if in Celestia, canon wise, heterosexuality is the only sexuality? Hmm...

Well, if you want to think it, Disgaea 5 basically gave you an "interesting past"

I think he's one of the few final bosses out there who isn't necessarily evil. Hell, he was on YOUR side all along, helping push things towards coexistence. A very underrated character. The first Disgaea really has a lot of strengths that's difficult to emulate.

Oh he definitely is! I wish we got to know more about him and his history. Just from what e see he's a really interesting character (and an incredible troll if you read his interactions with Laharl in the novels). I hope we get to see more of him sometime.

The manga certainly hinted at it even if it wasn't all that great. They made him a lot more stoic in the English version, but you sorta see that side of him surface like when he talks about flowers at seemingly inappropriate times. I'd like to see more of him too, but I have my doubts.
Who knows. D2 might prove me wrong. It's going to be a direct sequel to Disgaea 1.

Yep! He is in there! I'm mostly curious whether or not there'll be a DLC chapter or something that goes into him and/or Krichevskoy some more. Lamington does have a face/sprite portrait after all, and it seems weird to do that if they aren't going to give him a full sprite.

Well, that's just excellent! Can't wait to see his updated art too. He probably looks fetching. But that's great, honestly. So it seems like there's going to be another conflict between the Netherworld and Celestia again if Lamington has to step in. But backstory between Lamington and Krichevskoy would be great since, well, it's flat-out shown that they know each other.

Lamington seriously deserves more love as far as fanart is concerned. Alongside a few other blokes like Aurum and Aramis, but that's probably just me talking.
Still, this is really lovely! I think the lighting turned out nice!
