Description
Midori all tooled up for combat with his dual sword style and is Orion's Belt.Update: I added purple to the back ground for more contrast and touched up some of the colors and the shading!

You said this was one of your featured submissions, and I can see why. This looks quite incredible.
First-off, the amount of detail present here is quite impressive, there are a great many lines in both his character, the clothes, and the background and it looks as if it took quite a long time.
Also the outfit is an interesting choice, very action hero looking. I like the sword straps looping around the belt and the jacket with the high collar, very dramatic.
The lightning in the background kinda gives me a dragon ball Z vibe, but in a good way, sometimes those over dramatic effects can really help make an image that much more enjoyable, just for the sheer over-the-top resonance of it.
There's a lot of small details that I like here as well, such as the fact that his eyes are two different colors, or that he has two differently styled swords.
Overall I think its very well done, the character looks cool, the detail is very well presented, the linage is very sharp and precise, and it all lends itself to a very dramatic appeal.
