When a bear or bear friend has not found a home in one year, I usually give them a makeover. Byul's face was re-felted using different colors and an traditional looking muzzle. The nose was then finished by sealing it with layers of beeswax. Byul is an Asian Black Bear (aka Moon Bear) that was inspired by the Eagle Nebula hence the gradient of colors on her body. Byul has a light dusting of glitter from last year and on the paws, a reversed crescent moon and star. Byul's eyes were redone to give her a waterline and a more soulful look.

The wool felt star piece on one ear is pinned on, so completely removable unless Byul's new family would like me to permanently fix it to the ear.
