Here is the final result!This is the tattoo, complete after two months since the appointment. The Sheikah Eye was darkened a bit and the black portal background was added. It's a little difficult to see, but there are also some small highlights in the jewel.
Happy 25th Anniversary, Legend of Zelda!
I love love love this tattoo, and I always look to it and smile with fond memories with my family and the adventures I have had in all the years I've played.
Time for Skyward Sword...

I love the idea you came up with and it looks amazing. I did a 25th anniversary/12 years anniversary (of game play) tattoo on my chest of all four games I played (besides wind waker, but I will be adding boss keys to it).

My jaw dropped when I saw this...
Mainly because as I was literally getting my own Legend of Zelda tattoo, I saw the stencil art of your tattoo posted right beside the table I was laying on.
I also got a tattoo at Mort Cheval. I was interested to see another Legend of Zelda fan in the area, however, I did not expect to find you online while I was showing my mother other Legend of Zelda tattoos through google search.
Small world I suppose...
I had to remake my deviant art account just to make a comment. My last account and an unfortunate profile name created when I was about 10 years of age. haha
I was very impressed by your design. Lots of thought obviously went into it, and I enjoy how you incorporated Twilight Princess into it as well, seeing as how that game has a special place in my heart

What are the odds? Same shop, and I'm so happy that Crystal has my stencil up at her board. I should go gush to her about that-- I need to talk to her about either another Zelda tattoo or maybe a FF tattoo... Once you get inked once, they just start to add up!
I initially wanted the Twilight Princess portal to be underneath the eye and crest wings, but Crystal with her brilliance suggested for it to be background. I'm so happy with my tattoo.
Skyward Sword is still mind blowing, since I'm a slow player

Haha, yeah, I'll throw up a picture of my tattoo. I just got it last wednesday, so I only have a picture of it when it was finished. It's currently scabbing and itching like a b****.
I'll likely be going back and getting something else nerd themed as well. Whether that be Zelda, or original 150 Pokemon themed. (A part of me wants to get a small tattoo of the 8bit version of Pikachu following Ash, much like in Pokemon Yellow. I know it's not an uncommon tattoo, but I find it freaking adorable).
This was my second tattoo, and I love what Crystal did with it. It's got a bit of a hidden meaning about my life as well, which is what makes it unique to me. (:
I was getting major tattoo fever seeing as I got my first tattoo a little over two years ago. Seeing all my guy friends getting more, and some getting tattoos by Crystal, I just had to get one done.

I also got to the point in Skyward Sword where I'm just before the final boss battle. I'm dreading it and am excited at the same time. I'm trying to drag it out by hunting for Goddess Cubes and getting the final shield (it's a pain lol).
