This year I think I finally got my armor to a point where I can be pretty happy with it... I made the chestplate, gauntlets, and leg plates in the past but I was never happy with the whole overall look even though seperately they looked pretty epic in my opinion since this is still my first attempt at making armor. So this year I decided to add a leather skirt to the whole thing with the sides, loin cloth front, and back plates that sort of resemble a tail somewhat. Anyhow I hope yall enjoy. The mask by the way I did not make although I did alter it after I bought it. The maker of the mask is actually MissMonster here on deviantart.Related content

Wow, thats insane! Beats my armor by far lol I made armor for Fran from craft foam and it's not holding up too well anymore.

Thanks this was my first big leather project. Yeah I'm a big fan of craft foam since I use it alot myself with projects and its very useful and multipurpose... but sadly it isn't the most durable thing to work with especially with armor... so I figure leather is usually the best way to go... it looks good, is durable, & usually fits the "real-factor" more, but sadly leather working can be pricey at times.

Defiantly. And I can't say there can be some quick fixes for malfunction unlike craft foam (ie hot glue) but hey, I give you props for going at it.

Yeah that's one of the reasons I bring a first aid kit for my cosplays with me to cons and such... never know when you might need some hot glue gun or what not... but yeah leather is nice but you gotta take care of it, can be fixed at times but its not the easiest thing to do.
