The first hybrid of Solar/Lunar to be spotted following an eclipse.

The only male of the trio, this Eclipsewing is entirely difficult to spot during the night though easy to see during the day due to his coloring. He is based on a full eclipse. Can be encountered under special circumstances.

Eclipsewings are peculiar hybrids born from necessity to protect their origins. When times became harsh and surviving was difficult, the remaining pairs of Solar/Lunar crossed species to continue. While most of the offspring was likely regular, it seems that despite the two species being the same aside from their elements there was a chance a new element was created that merged two into one and created hybrids who took traits from both parents.

Eclipse Featherfuries are enigmatic and the three known are often seen as alphas and deities in their own right due to the supposed extinction of their other parts. More could exist theoretically but with Solar/Lunar dragons being unseen besides one Lunawing it seems trivial to think there could be a whole habitat where these hybrids have thrived. They possess two gems on their tails and can absorb both sunlight and moonlight giving them lunar and solar energy to sustain themselves if food is sparse. Much else is still unknown since assumptions are based only on the behaviors of Solarwings and Lunawings.
