If anyone writes a battle with him and it's not called 'The Cure For Cancer?' I'm gonna be furious.

I am amazed that this series managed to draw up sympathy for a cancer cell of all things.

I thought cancer would be an extremist rebel who wanted to "free" all cells from their supposed restraints of society, yet was actually selfishly driven and greedy.
But this is something else. I like it.

Someone on TEDx theorized that cancer may be the body's attempt to repair itself, and that we may someday deliberately give people cancer to save them.
Wonder how this story would address that.

It technically is. But it became a massive error. Well it might not go in too deeply,

These manga scans make me feel bad for the cancer cells. They never asked to be like that yet they get treated like they're evil incarnate like the bacteria and viruses. I wish there was a way to fix the cancer cells to make them normal and healthy cells.

I agree with that! I wonder why don’t they take him and move him from a malignant to a benign though with such a past? If regulated to keep from going out of control, couldn’t he be very helpful to the body without having to be hurt or hunted further?

That's what I was thinking too that Cancer Cells could be used as superweapons to destroy mass numbers of bacteria and viruses but the Cancer Cells would have to be regulated and monitored by the Immune System of course. Imagine him tearing through hordes of bacteria and viruses, he'd give the enemies of the Human body nightmares.

Only Japan can do such a thing.
But yeah, but it can't be helped. This point you're definitely sure they're the bad guys.

Yeah, the cancer cells needed to be stopped from destroying the body and killing everyone in it. Besides feeling bad for the cancer cells, I'm also angry at the healthy cells which screwed up in making new cells and caused them to become cancer cells in the first place.

Sadly so... Maybe someday when we find a cure for cancer they can find a way to make a happy ending

Neo-Byzantium In reply to ShadowFrost1 [2018-07-28 03:40:56 +0000 UTC]
That'd be nice to see. Perhaps it'll involve nanoprobes who fix the cancer cells and make them into normal cells, that way, the cancer cell from the manga can actually become good friends with the white blood cell character like he always wanted.
The cancer cell of course would still not like the blonde haired Killer T cell for what happened in the past and for being a jerk to him and would likely verbally troll the T Cell a lot.... LOL!

Neo-Byzantium In reply to ShadowFrost1 [2018-07-31 14:08:41 +0000 UTC]
I get the Killer T Cells being aggressive towards outside invaders but the cancer cells didn't ask to be what they are, they're only like that because normal cells messed up when making them. Therefore, the White Blood Cells should behave like U-1146, intense when fighting them but show that they kill them to end their pain and suffering.

ShadowFrost1 In reply to Neo-Byzantium [2018-08-02 00:14:02 +0000 UTC]
I suppose some Killer T cells probably didn't like to be attached and probably dehumanized, or rather decellilized, them to make it easier to do their jobs

Neo-Byzantium In reply to ShadowFrost1 [2018-08-02 03:22:47 +0000 UTC]
I can understand that but by doing so, they come across as being heartless jerks to the other cells. It's so bad that when the Cancer Cell launched his 2nd attempt to destroy the body and he beat up the Killer T Cell that had been cruel to him, I understood the Cancer Cell's anger and hatred as he'd been brutally persecuted by his kind and he saw one of his fellow young cancer cells killed by Killer T Cells and treated like he was a vile bacterium or something.
I guess I can't stand seeing innocent beings unfairly bullied by others since I was bullied a lot growing up by my peers.
