Gensokyo.... Scarlet Devil Mansion front...

It was honestly a calm night in Gensokyo. Something chaotic had just happened and the confusion of the loss of a shrine maiden, due to some outsider incident apparently as Yukari said, has left everyone panicking over the barrier. Thankfully it was resolved quite quickly when everyone started cooperating and it wasn’t the end of the world for Gensokyo yet. So of course an incident resolving festival had to be set up. After all new outsider heroes were also here.
And so this is how the Scarlet family ended up. With Sakuya Izayoi waiting patiently as people around her chatted by and she serves her master’s cup with tea. The night sky was wonderful today and everyone seemed to be having fun. Mostly. Maybe if she was seated elsewhere she would be much calmer.
“But I really didn’t expect to see you here Kakyoin!” A particular muscular white haired man beside her was being quite loud. His laughter would be a match for an oni and is very distracting. “I mean I knew it was the Netherworld but who knew I could just talk to you like this!”
“Strings were pulled to keep us around but it seemed like we’re going to be staying here for a bit,” Whoever he was talking to he should just approach him. They were being way too loud talking like this… Sakuya sighed as she poured another set of tea. “Avdol and Iggy would be happy to see you too Jean.”
“Them too!? No way! And don’t call me that! Wait, so you also live with sword girl then?” Oh? So this Jean fellow knew Youmu? Then again the half ghost was talking about clashing with a swordsman earlier too. The results of the battle she wouldn’t dare reveal however. Did she lose? “And that… fine ghost? You know, the pink haired one with two big... you know who?”
“... You really think with your crotch huh.”
“What? I haven’t even said anything!” Jean seemed outraged or at least slightly startled. “Sides… I already have Malena out there.
“Hmmhmm. I’m more impressed you’re able to find her again,”

“Literally all I said is I was a kid and it didn’t take much convincing.”
“Become a chef and ghost girl will fall in love with you.”
“You serious?”
That was the incentive to leave. With a sigh Sakuya stood up and began to walk away, passing by a blonde woman and an old man discussing. The former was Marisa Kirisame, another incident resolver and what could be described as a witch. The latter was another outsider, goes by the name of Joseph or something? He looked particularly old but could still move around pretty well. Judging from what he heard about him at least.

“And this one is a nifty one! Rabadon’s Deathcap!!”
“Hmm, not bad! What does it do aside from look silly?”
“Zehehe! It increases your ability or somethin! So if you say your Stand is D-ranked well~!”
“It increases the power? Wait that means I have to wear that that then?”
“Yup. Well you could always go with this Hourglass and Luden’s Echo!”
Discussion of magic. Apparently Marisa visited a place called Runeterra earlier and was now boasting about her spoils after defeating a light mage that tried to copy her style. Must be related to Yukari with how she ended up or at least something like Reimu’s case. These anomalies have been happening and-...?
Sakuya turned back towards their mansion. That was strange… She felt something off. But that shouldn’t be the case. The Scarlet Manor should be safe and the fairy maids inside should be going back and forth since they were the only ones who can and yet… There was not a single loudness inside. Such little noise… Of course the fairies here are acting normally but when did it get so quiet inside?
… Something was off.

No. It was rather unnerving. But… she couldn’t ruin the party now. Otherwise Remilia would get some flak for this. This was a festival of celebration. Maybe someone had just snuck in and took out some fairies trying to rob the place. Clearly not Marisa unless she developed her own Stand or something. In any case it was time to go in. With a time stop she was inside, not even have to worry about anyone else. Of course she left a note just in case.
But upon arriving she tensed up. The shadows of this place and the dark corners were familiar to her yet they still cast out an illusion of something is hiding in there. And that was with the awareness of her power… There was something in there but it was hiding its presence well. Like that pesky assassin girl named Jack. Oh well, in this case she just had to keep going and lead it somewhere she could spot them with ease. This would be less work.

Kudos to you guys even when I played the “Oh is it April First tomorrow?” sort of deal. Even when I repeated that days ago…. Oh well~
