I quickly sketched this out because I've considered getting a barn owl tattoo since they have been one of my favorite animals since I started reading the Guardians of Ga'Hoole books when I was 10 or 11 years old. This was just a study off of a photograph I saw to work on drawing them because I've never been that great at drawing birds.graphite

I love the fluffy wings! And I love owls so much, I still read the books when I mood gets me and I love them more than that movie (that switched species).
My icon is my special owl (I changed her name a bit), I think Karma fits her better since she does act like Karma...especially when dealing with ginger.
I love Barn owls so much, but I also like Masked owls...and since I like both species and couldn't decide...I sort of blended them.
The blacks of a masked owl on a Barn owl, and with the help of a nice deviant, I got this beautiful avatar who is the first of her kind (barn owls who aren't melantistic)
