History: There once was a demon…
that was a cruel and merciless killer without a conscience and that didn’t even hesitate to destroy entire families and kill woman and children.
It was told that he had a heart of steel and that nothing could ever change him…but the rumors were proven wrong when the first war of the gods ended abruptly.
When Ivalina had locked the gods and their factions away from Zion, Lucien wasn’t trapped in the moon with his other faction-members. At this time he was in Earthra but still near the borders of Ares and suffered from the great powers the Earthran goddess had used to split Ares from the rest of Zion.
The demon fell unconscious and when he woke up all of his memories had vanished. He couldn’t remember a thing, not even his name.

A new life…
can bring new chances.
When Lucien woke up again he found himself picked up by some travelers. Because of his elvish appearance it was hard to tell that he wasn’t one of their own ranks. They nursed him back to health and for a very long time Lucien fought for the poor and weak and was part of the neutral faction, though he never felt home there.
The demonic part in him was weakened and not strong enough to take over the body again, but grew stronger over the time and kept on arguing with his other part till they stroke an agreement: the demon would no longer force his elvish part to let him take over the lead, therefore Lucien would permit the demon to swap places with his new gained elvish personality if needed in a fight.
When time passed by the demon revealed several things from his past in Lucien’s dreams to him and the elf slowly started to remember.
One evening he heard the story of a man who murdered without hesitation and was known by the name “Blindeye”.
Lucien put the fragments of his memories together and recognized that he had just heard the story of his long past life.
Killing without a flicker of emotion – the rules he had lived by and almost died for, made him realize that he couldn’t deny he had always abandoned darkened thoughts and cruel desires. And even though it seemed he had changed allegiance – it didn’t change who he really was.

When a new age dawns…
it is time to move on to new horizons.
Lucien knew he couldn’t stay any longer with the ones who prevented him from death and left the group, searching for a place he’d feel home again.
And when Ares broke free from their lunar prison there was only one place for Lucien to go to.

After the battle of the godly beasts...
the war gets even more intense.
Rift monsters appeared and spread havoc over Zion, forcing the factions to work together to fight back the evil that arose. Still not united under one banner but accepting the circumstances that lead to the momentary armistice, the armies faced the threatening situation, but were still not able to take control over the rifts and more monsters poured from them and were released into the world. During one of the fights against the monsters, Lucien fell into a rift and got poisoned by the miasma entering his body. It took him more than half a year to recover from the damage he took by the miasma that fed his demonic half.
By now he's back in his old position as commander.

Personality: Lucien appears very rude and impolite since he doesn’t talk much and rarely answers questions. But on the other hand he can be a very charming character, if you know how to talk to him. Though he lived for many years among the people of Earthra, he’s a very loyal warrior who will never betray his faction again; but lost a lot of his former cruelty. He can’t kill without mercy anymore but tries to hide his emotions, so no one can accuse him of being soft.
And the demon inside his mind isn’t really helpful in those moments – he keeps teasing and annoying his other part, always trying to freak him out. That’s why he appears schizophrenic most of the time.

Abilities: His chaos-magic enables him to wreak havoc on the battle-field and cause great damage – even in his own ranks. That’s why he rarely uses powerful spells when he fights with his companions. But a few spells are great to confuse his opponents and make them unable to tell who is one of their own and who is not.
Despite that his chaos-magic can be put into two categories:
The ‘cold chaos’ for defensive spells and the ‘warm chaos’ for offensive spells.

Spells:
Cold Chaos:
Sneaking Chaos: A spell that weakens the visual perception and letting the opponent react carelessly. – Area Spell – Primary Spell
Divided Pain: If this spell is active the damage caused on Lucien will be reduced to one half – the other half will be mirrored onto the enemy. However this spell only works with physical damages, magical damages can’t be mirrored. – Secondary Spell
Chaotic Dance: Confuses the enemy and making them unable to move straight on – it appears as if they were dancing on the battlefield. – Area Spell
Chaotic Soul: Increases the ability to miss the target when attacking.
Wings of Chaos: A spell to make oneself moving faster. Can be cast on others, too.
Chaos Haze: Creates the perceptual illusion of fire on the battlefield. This spell is to keep opponents on distance but it’s easy to see through the trick ‘cause the fire has no warmth and causes no damage.
Sight Intensifier: Greater chances to land a critical hit. Can only be cast on himself.

Warm Chaos:
Shards of Chaos: Five to six crystal clear shards with sharpened edges that can be thrown like daggers. They cause average physical damage but can’t pierce through heavy armors. – Primary Spell
Mind Strike: Causes massive damage on a single enemy. The released chaos-magic covers the opponent and befuddles his wits, making him see horrible creatures everywhere and forcing him to either flee or attack. – Secondary Spell
Chaos Storm: Small rifts appear in a summoned cloud over a large area and unload its chaos-bolds. High risk of friendly-fire… – Area Spell
Chaos Impulse: The accumulated chaos-energy will be set free in one frontal shock-wave that floors down smaller foes or pushes them back. The more chaos spells had been casted before the weaker the chaos impulse will be since it’s very energy-consuming.

Spells that can be used only the demon:
Burning Soul: The mind of the rival gets haunted by Lucien’s chaotic energies. The offensive-spell of his opponent is blocked for some minutes. Does not work on enemies with no magical powers.
Broken Will: The chaos energy breaks through the will of Lucien’s enemy. The will to defend oneself is heavily reduced for some minutes. Cannot be combined with the burning-soul-spell.

The scar running across his left eye has nothing to do with its blindness. He’s blind on it congenitally.
Lucien’s Theme-Song is ‘Within Temptation – Where is the edge?’, but the band I’m always listening to when drawing him is ‘The 69 Eyes’
For those who know Ellis: He was the one who picked Lucien up after Ares and Caelius were locked away.
It seems that he's suffering from some kind of schizophrenia since his demonic part always interrupts his thoughts and tries to take over his mind. But most of the time the demon inside his mind just teases him...
He has a daughter named Elwarelle and a younger Sister

Luce:
The first person he ever met. When he was about to buy some candy for his generals he hadn't met before, he asked Luce for help in the candyshop 'cause he couldn't decide on what to buy for her and Sandro. After he had paid the bill for his and Luce's stuff he told the angel ghost for whom the sweets were for - and that's how the journey to Deamonds castle started...that's one way to meet a general, isn't it?

Sandro:
The image of a fearsome and cruel general was destroyed in less than a few seconds. When he first met the necromancer, he fell right in front of Lucien's feet down on the floor while catching a butterfly that escaped his room.
To him Sandro (and Luce) are only two playful children who love to annoy him. But nonetheless he'll fight for both Sandro and Luce to defend them.

Phiu:
He found the young mage on the cemetery in Necropolis and after a short fight he decided to make her to his right hand. They were on the crystal ball event together and he even let her sleep in his own bed after he had ordered her to tidy up his room.
She found the cat Blackheart on the event and Lucien decided to keep the kitten.
Phiu is one of the few persons he likes though he’d never admit it.

Deamond:
His only god and master and the only one he will ever serve and protect with his life. When it comes to do all the dirty work (and stupid tasks) Lucien is the first one to raise his hand.
He’s Deamond’s lapdog and as loyal as can be and will do everything to please his master though it rarely works out well...
