Agreed! I've just recently started watching Zeta Gundam and I love the show! Char and his Hyaku Shiki just RULE! However, I am confused as to whether the Hyaku is a new generation Gundam itself or if its simply a different type of highly advanced mobile suit with similar capabilities to a Gundam?

the hyaku shiki is just a high grade mobile suit built for advanced pilots that comes with an anti-beam armor where ever there is gold on the hyaku shiki's body that's an anti-beam surface. truly a mobile suit to be feared but due to high production cost very few were ever made Char's is one of the few. if you want to see a gundam version of the Hyaku Shiki look up Gundam Akatsuki it's a gundam adaptation of the hyaku shiki that is supposed to be faster and stronger than the original non-gundam type that even comes complete with the same golden anti-beam armor.
