You might have guessed, I have a thing for pointy eared men. So I like this very much. The pose is well done, and dynamic. You can almost imagine him hurling it at someone in the next microsecond! I love the details on the blade that is already drawn, and you did a splendid job on the profile!

I have a thing for such men too (it's easily noticed I think). In fact the sideshow figure has a bit more "masculine" face than the real one but it's the best for drawing if you want to capture the likeness of the hero in a sketch.

Ah! I have not seen too many figures of Legolas after the movies were done. I only ever saw the action figure, and it wasn't too impressive to say the least.
I have three fellows that chum around together, all with pointed ears. There should be a club somewhere!

So far... I have about 50 5-7inch lotr figures,(heroes, soldiers and horses) over 30 "armies of middle earth" figures (small ones) and helm's deep castle replica, 1 sideshow Legolas figure, dozens of warhammer lotr figures and many many other fantasy figures and a few sci-fi as well. There is soooooo much more to collect and I love collecting!
and... what do you mean? do they have their ears made to look like pointy?

That is one impressive collection!
Oh sorry for the confusion. I meant I have three original characters that are all friends. Two are elves, one is half-elfin.

I thought I was replying for another colored legolas I have drawn... yeah maybe his hair needs a bit more detail (more to look like it's connected to his sculp or something). Thanks anyway!

Thank you! Heh it's not my best Legolas so far anyway... that's why I wasn't so sceptical for coloring. Colors can ruin shading and details.
