Description
I haven't drawn anything in a Sonic art style in forever, so when one of my friends stated he wanted to host a game in the Root TRPG system (which features woodland animals as the playable and non-playable characters), I decided to see if my Sonic art skills are still present by drawing my character for that campaign.
Conclusion: I haven't gotten worse, at least.
In any RPG system that has Luck as a stat, I want to try and make a character who relies on luck for any situation. In the Root TRPG, the Scoundrel is the class with the highest luck stat to start with (in the core rule book, otherwise they tie with other classes), so I decided to go with the scoundrel.
As for some reasons, rabbits are considered lucky animals, I decided to go for a rabbit character.
I had some character ideas in mind at first, but upon reading the class' abilities, I rewrote pretty much my entire character; scoundrels are at their best when they "use needlessly destructive or damaging methods", and can level up by decreasing their popularity with other factions.
On top of that, they have abilities that allow them to excel when using dangerous means (like explosives or uncontrolled flames), can literally create dangerous devices (explosives say hi), and work really well with distractions (by blowing stuff up).
After rewriting my character to fit the class' traits, my character reminded me a bit of a certain... "war criminal".
I am not sorry for bringing any Pekora references into the game.
Gotta practice that directional arrow laughter before we get started. xD
(I'm actually not too familiar my Pekora, so the references will probably be highly limited. Maybe I'll ask one of the other players in that campaign who knows more about the JP Hololives than I do about references I can include.)
