The Female Tengu and The Dragon Ninja join together as allies in battle...Are you ready?NyoTengu: Are you done so soon? How unsatisfying...You couldn't even beat us.
Ryu Hayabusa: Hmm, Not too bad. We'll fight again next time.
After playing these two together in a tag match, I didn't notice they would really a tag intro and outro pose in the game. Seeing them fight side-by-side as allies is pretty cool to see in my opinion. I've always thought of a nice tag team for them and thanks to Team Ninja for making it happen. This is my own improvised tag pose for these two fighters.

It would seem that their rivalry has been settled on friendly terms and she forgave him for killing the previous tengu boss. Or she is pretending to act as his ally only to later betray Ryu when his guard is down.

That's a good theory, but I must explain to you this so you can understand more, my friend:
"In the 2nd DOA tournament, "Bankotsubo" (The Criminal Tengu) murdered the leader of the tengu clan. In other words, her leader was killed by this evil driven tengu who escape from her homeworld and invaded the realm of earth to take over the human world with his insanity. Ryu Hayabusa fought against this evil tengu and killed him for the safety of the human race. With that victory, over this evil tengu that was a murderer and a criminal. He was considered a hero for taking care of the business of killing the tengu for his crime and avenging the leader of her clan in way too.
"So, I believe that NyoTengu instead of coming to the human world to seek revenge that some ppl believe she is after him for, That's not the case at all. Team Ninja made the decision to take out that part for her story. Instead, she comes to human world to seek the identity of the man who took care of the murderer of her leader. NyoTengu probably wanted to know Hayabusa and see who this man was and how was able to fight this tengu all on his own."

Team Ninja removed the whole "Take on revenge on him for killing Banko." part and made it different for her now. Now instead of her seeking revenge. She wants to know who this super ninja/hero is...

And this is precisely why Team Ninja needs to get their shit together and actually give their brand new characters so some sort of backstory that is well thought out. It's pathetic considering other fighting game series such as King Of Fighters have more than double the roster size and yet I know more about any single one of them.
I am guessing what you wrote in quotations is pure speculation on your part which I don't comment on.
Let me guess. That picture you provided a link to is a special tag team throw. Christie and Helena have one too. It doesn't mean that they are on friendly terms with one another.
