Wanted to come up something for members to do while waiting for the next Digital War mission.Both for fun, and to give the leaders a break. ^u^
-Please note-
Biomerge Digivolutions are not currently canon in the Digital War.
This Meme is purely for fun.
The idea for this Meme evolved from the fact Digimon Season 3 recently appeared on Netflix. I remembered adoring Guilmon as a kid, so I figured I'd give it a watch. While I haven't ever seen Season 1 or 2 in its entirety, Season 3 is definitely my favorite. Not so much for the story, but more-so for the clever executions and genuine thought that went into fleshing out the world they created in seasons past.
If you haven't seen Season 3 you should a Biomerge is a Tamer+Digimon evolution. Both the Digimon and their human partner fight in tandem by synchronizingΒ their minds to control a single Digital body.

asdhkja this is really tempting- too bad I'm not a part of the group anymore . I feel like I'm being lured out of my procrastination to draw digimon XD. I saw the version you filled out- it looks great! Your designs are always interesting and unique to look at (tell me your secret). Hope to see more of the stuff you churn out!

My uh secret? Is essentially this-I work really well with two well defined elements.
So in a case like this, or other biomerge digivolutions,Β I simply take definitive attributes from both parties and find a balance between them. Think of it like dog+cat
Ones like that tho lean more towards symbolism largely cuz of the nature of the characters, and the fact I know them so well.

I feel compelled to fill this out, but then again Lapis and Faith don't mix well. Even the way I write their speech is so dynamically different I can't imagine them working as one. There will always be bickering

Now that would be an interesting evolution. Chances are nothing would be accomplished and they would simply sit there locked in some internal skirmish until their power ran out and they simply separated XD

Most likely XD Though I have an idea where to begin a design from. There's a rumour that Faith's clan has some relations to Morrigan Le Fey from Arthurian myths (and their last names are meant to indicate they're her descendants) I was thinking of probably having a dark knight that's been blessed by an evil witch- probably based on Morrigan's son

DAMN you read my mind! I've been considering creating a Biomerge design for Emily and Crocutamon for ages 
Ironically I actually wasn't a fan of it as a plot device or an actual digivolution....but it'd be fun to design, so...

I'm totally torn on megas.
On the one hand it's like yes gimme gimme I've waited so long I want some Masoleomon!
On the other hand it's like, well...once I unlock Megas...then what?

I think that may have been the problem from the start-and the admins may be very well aware of it.
Still, I've done about everything I set out in this group to do, and all that's left is to -finally- reveal Magi's Mega.
I mean its not like I designed him over 2 years ago and have waited patiently all this time or anything X'DDD
And as for the-then what- we may finally get to the root of the DW's story! With all the Digidestined being kidnapped an' all lol.
Regardless, it's either Mega's, or an endless stream of tangent Digivolutions.
Cuz' heaven knows there's a lot of variants to choose from...

That's a good point, there's still plenty of story in store so it's not like we'll have hit the end just because Crocutamon, Magi and Tyks can go Mega.
Hell the tangent evolutions might continue after that too...imagine using BURST MODE!

Seriously the whole reason I'm still here and kicking is due to my dogged desire to finally reveal my Mega.
That said, I still really wish it would be soon~
As for Burst mode based on my 5 minute Google findings it's a break from their usual Mega evolution to a super glowy evolution?
Or is it their usual Mega evolution+tons of glowy special effects? X3
I'm not very familiar with these later versions of Digimon.

Burst Mode is from season 5 and is pretty much just like it sounds...when they hit Mega form it's a temporary burst of extra energy that makes them even more powerful/skilled than their 'regular' mega form. But it doesn't last too long (at least in all the eps I saw), it was heavily connected to the tamer's emotional levels (the main character triggered his first when he was raging mad and basically made his Agumon's mega level go into a dark burst that almost killed it). It's also not a whole new level because it's usually just a variation of the same mega level (ex. Shinegreymon just gets some fiery wings and other things on fire, Rosemon mostly just gets a recolor, etc).
It's basically Mega to the Extreme Level XD
