The Vex! Unfathomable time-travelling automaton, the purposes of the Vex are unknown. Travelling the galaxy and time itself instantaneously via Warp Gates, they are vicious and unstoppable opponents. A thousand motors and photoreceptors, all focused on one foe. And they shall not stop until they destroy their opposition.

And their foe is another army of machines, spreading from world to world.

The Novus! The creations of a long dead alien race, the Novus move across the galaxy in pursuit of a vicious alien empire called 'The Hierarchy', the destroyers of their race. Their are stalwart in their cause, ever adapting and changing through updates and upgrades.

So, if these two mechanical forces were to meet on a world, who would win? The mechanized Lovecraftian-Minded Nightmare of the Vex? Or the Optimistic and Logical Novus?
