Speaking of which, I was going to summarize what she said about this au when it first became a thing but I can't word it as elegantly as she did, so in Central's words:

who cares if he's wearing a dress? have you heard that voice? have you seen those legs?
so, in a totally inaccurate depiction of the 1920s, hiccup's a famous as fuck boy in a dress with a great voice and better moves in heels than most girls
he switches to suits sometimes
but you miss all the fun wearing pants
meanwhile jack comes in here somewhere as some startup actor coming to hollywood that dreams of opening a hot new club
who better to draw a crowd than the great hiccup himself?
he may be a busy boy, but there's something about those blue eyes that he just can't say no to

I'm cursing silently because I SHOULD be drawing Vampire Hunter but I'm kinda obsessed with this at the moment 8'D And I'm waiting for some idiots to freak out about a boy wearing a dress. Just wait. There will be some comments regarding cross-dressing Hiccup. JUST WAIT.
So basically, I'm not sure how we're going about this yet, but the story is going to focus on the lives of Hiccup, Jack, Toothless, Bunny, Heather, and Astrid, and how they all intertwine at this club Jack's got going. Toothless is Hiccup's manager and longtime best friend, Bunny is the hot bus boy at the club, Astrid is Hic's friend who dances with him (I have a feeling that she's the one who dragged get it? Drag? him into this in the first place as a joke…then he realized he liked it) and Heather is the hella sexy flapper girl whom Astrid does NOT have the hots for in any way whatsoever what are you talking about of course not
And I think I had another interesting thing to say but I forgot so

but honestly, I really love the concept you guys came up with here
i'll admit that I originally thought that Jack was talking about Hiccup's legs/ other body parts when he was referring to exposure but then I read the description and was like '

DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE THE IDEA OF ASTRID BEING IN DENIAL WHEN SHE HAS A CRUSH ON SOMEONE

ok so you have the moment when Astrid and Hiccup first meet Heather and Astrid dislikes her bc she doesn't trust her (and ok, so maybe she's a little worried she's gonna replaced on the best friend front but w/e) but then Heather really starts to grow on her and she starts to act less gruff around her and stuff but she still denies that maybe maybe she's ok with having Heather around (she's more than ok with it and everyone can tell bc Astrid's body language gives her away)
and then the almost kiss happens, and she tries to sort out her feelings about it after. on one hand, she's kind of relieved that they were interrupted, but on the other hand, she's really disappointed bc she really wants to kiss Heather and- WAIT WHAT
and she figures out that she likes Heather in a more than friendly way and she goes on complete lockdown and shuts everyone out (bc that's her coping mechanism for when she encounters something that really freaks her out)
and everyone is super concerned except for Hiccup bc this isn't exactly the first time she's done it and they've been friends for years so he knows that's she'll talk about whatever the problem is when she's ready, she just needs time and space buT GODDAMN THESE PEOPLE ARE SO PUSHY ALWAYS TRYING TO MAKE INTERVENTIONS FOR HER AND SHIT AND HE KNOWS THEYRE DOING WHAT THEY THINK IS BEST BUT GODDAMN HE JUST WANTS TO YELL HIS LUNGS OUT AT THEM BC CANT THEY SEE WHAT THEYRE DOING ISNT HELPING ITS JUST MAKING IT WORSE FOR HER GODDAMN THESE PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS SOMETIMES
and eventually Astrid drags Hiccup off to have a very deep and meaningful conversation about sexuality (basically blurting out that she thinks she likes girls and storming out of the room before Hiccup can respond)

And speaking of gorgeous, I can't get over the doodle of Hiccup alone near the bottom right (to the left of the one where Jack is making the eyes at Bunny). I know he looks not impressed but there is something about the face and the hair in that one that just makes me want to Seriously that one is gorgeous and I feel like that should break a law of some sort.....
