Heh here's my first attempt at a pic a day, took me a hella lot of time, but that's because I was slow on the lineart, but I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out.A simple pic, sonic and shadow fighting in their super forms in your typical shounen are ;D

This is so great, not just the stances and Sonic and Shadow's colouring and shading, but the background and the ground looks very well done as well. Amazing work.

Thanks, and yeah they do look a bit hovery, need to work on that on future works, I tried adding shadow, but I just realised I put too much dust clouds so they're a bit hidden XD actually I might revisit this piece later on.

i think if you understand what they are standing on more and define it a bit more it would be easier to place the shadows, revisiting is a cool idea, i've done it a few times too^^

Oh man this fight scene reminds me of the opening of Dragon ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 1.
