Description

This is one of my favorite THOH stories from the Simpsons, as they finally did a parody of the best of the Peanuts holiday specials.

Seeing Santa's Little Helper and Homer homage Snoopy was fun, and Marge doing the trombone sound effects for the adults is funny as well. Also seeing Bart as Charlie Brown, Lisa as Sally, and of course Milhouse as Linus all doing their own homage to those iconic characters is great.

The animation and backgrounds are a great homage to the style of Peanuts, and the twist about the Grand Pumpkin is the reason I won't spoil.

As for the other segments from this THOH episode:

A GIANT ROBOT PARODY: It was a okay segment, but I would have liked to seen Peter Cullen and Frank Welker do their Prime and Megatron spoofs just for fandom sake. Plus this is better than a certain director's film series.

HOW TO GET A-DEAD IN AVERTISING: Homer killing celebrities is meh, and the Mad Men nod would get a better version a few seasons later.

I still recommend the Grand Pumpkin one for the nostalgia and how modern Simpsons still has hidden gems.
