One of the saddest moments in all video games....yes. the death (or supposed death) of companion cube.
I've wanted to do this picture for a while now, but I was unsure of how to approach it. one day I was flipping through paperchilds and it gave me an idea. Once, a long time ago, I did a layout for a zelda fansite that used little fake paper-cutouts. I wanted to so something different for this piece so.... whalla! fake paperchilds/paper-cutouts! I hope you like it

Eh. I felt nothing at the death of the Companion Cube in 1. It was just a cube, I mean, it had a heart on it and I had to hang onto it for longer than usual, but beyond that... It was a cube.
In Two, I felt a little worse, but only because GLaDOS was being so evil about it.

Like I said, I never particularly cared about the Companion Cube, but that... I can't say it angered me, but it annoyed me. I mean, "Companion Cube! It's the closest thing to a recurring character we have in this series besides Chell..! No wait, it's dead. (Pfft, "accident" my arse.) No wait, there's another one! ...that's dead too. (Dammit GLaDOS!) Yay, a third one, and it stays alive... wait, she's letting me keep it? Aweso--! Oh for crying out loud!"
