I'm trying to fix up their breed sheet a bit, and hopefully get my new breed up as well before opening another auction. I want to have enough time to invest in the breed and bring a bit more awareness to it.

However if I take too long in getting those two things finished I might be able to do a special import ^^

I've had mine (which was actually gifted to me) in works for two years, and it's just sat there. There are two active at the moment from myself and *Mishranna , but they're 'dead' so you would say. Anyway, it's great to see someone working whole heartily in their project. I really look forward to seeing your new horse breed. I'm sure it'll look just as wonderful as the Malta.

I feel that is what happened to the Maltas. Only 2 people actually own one but they aren't as active with them. I'm hoping that by editing a bit more people will be interested in them.

You are definitely, most welcome. It's a good thing you commented on my work, otherwise I'd never have found this amazing breed. Oh, I do have a question, if I may? I've been quite curious to know how these horses would do as Cavalry? Most of my horses have a Cavalry Charge discipline, so it'll be fun if one could join them. C: And another thing.. What is the "War Paint" pattern?

Yay! I'm so glad that you like them.
Hmm well I honestly hadn't thought of that before xD. I think that with enough time spent building trust and the right rider they could do well as Cavalry.
And the War Paint markings is similar to bloody shoulder in pattern however it is contained to the face and neck area and occurs on all colors. Normally visible around one or both of the eyes it is a darker coloring than the horses base color.
I need to add this to the breed sheet, but it's believed that this marking along with eye grease developed to keep the horses face and eyes cooler and reflect heat in the hot desert sun.

Sorry for late reply. It's the one long message I've had, and I didn't want to reply right away... Or maybe I'm just lazy.

Oh, awesome. That's what I like to hear. Although I haven't drawn them yet, all my main cavalry riders stick with their same horse, but are open to training others. I'm sure I can throw another horse their way.
I think, when you come to do some more imports, I'm "stealing" a horse with the War Paint. I really like how that's been created. The War Paint and the Eye Grease is some what like Raccoon's and Cheetahs?

I'll be sure to read it as soon as I can.

I have absolutely done that before so no worries ^^.

Hehe I will be thrilled to see a Malta being used as cavalry. That is such a unique thing (actually you may want to look at the new breed when I post it, they would do well as cavalry too).
I would be happy to include a few with war paint for you to choose from .
And exactly like a raccoon or cheetahs! The idea truthfully came to me because of the grease football players use, but yes it is essentially the same thing as you see on a few wild animals.

Thank you for the offer! I'd love a design if you don't mind me holding it for a while? I have so many horses right now that I need to age my stable a few times and make some changes before I can take any more .

I'm getting ready to post the breed sheet now .

I tend to throw designs at people a lot, so if I don't get to them today, you won't have to wait long. If I give designs to people, I'm not bothered if they get them up or not.

I'll go take a look at it now.
