Description It's been just over a year since the author of Yu-gi-oh, Kazuki Takahashi, passed away. It was incredibly sad and I remember when I found out I just sat there in disbelief for a while. He was fairly young to be gone, and I was really looking forward to many more years of his artwork and creativity. But he died trying to save others, and I think that says a lot about his character.

Yu-gi-oh, more than any other fictional creation I've ever seen, has influenced me in so many ways. There's no show or series for me that will ever compare. Regardless if you like the dub, the sub, or only the manga, Yu-gi-oh represents important lessons that all of us can learn from.

So this is my tribute to you, Kazuki. Thank you for giving all of us the wonderful universe that is Yu-gi-oh, and letting us all have the privilege of enjoying your series and eccentric characters. There's no characters more dear to my heart than the ones from Yu-gi-oh, and I hope wherever you are that you're resting well.

I'm sorry this tribute is so late. I wanted to do it justice because of how much this series has influenced my life. I hope people will enjoy this artwork and find it somewhat worthy.
