Saw this shot of these two in Yashahime. In case you haven't watched it, I won't spoil any of it, but it's definitely worth a watch if you're a huge fan of the original. I won't say it's as good, but like I said, definitely worth the watch. So I referenced this from a screenshot, I just chose to have Kagome's eyes open, changed the background just slightly, and added the blushing elements because I felt like that fit the moment.

So if aspiring artists are interested, I'd like to start offering tips for artwork whenever I post things. Just something to share here: positioning of eyes, eyebrows, mouths, and body position is everything. It's subtle, but I made Inuyasha's ears slightly more alert than usual to portray surprise, along with the tenseness and upward incline of his arm as she grabs it. Study body language and watch people, because it really does wonders to help you convey emotions and relay them through your work. Hopefully tips like these are helpful!
