I honestly hope this works.{EDIT} herpaderp her hair moves. Oh well. It's because of the weird way I transparent things.
I worked ALL day on this and this is my first MOVING pixel because the last one I did was my first actual legit pixel. I am NOT experienced in pixels so this may turn out to be a total bust. Oh well.
I love Hatsune Miku and I thought it would be fun to make a pixel of her \>u

I guess I did have SOME practice on this thing I use for the Nintendo DSi and I guess it really paid off \;u;/
And yeah ID I will say that it took a while because my OCD with artwork kicked in and didn't let me finish until everything was perfect.
Yeah, it's still bothering me. It looked so much crisper on the program and now it looks BLAHHH

Oohh~ Hatena? * v * If so, that really is good practice! I haven't really been using my dsi these days but I did make a couple animations on there as well that gave a nice bit of insight on how to smooth out animations~ And haha! Oh I know the feeling. Can't finish something until it sits perfectly with you.

Yes, Hatena ;w; I haven't really been either, but there are a couple of those PV/MV things that I really need to finish/start. I have so many that I just get overwhelmed and... quit D:
I use Paint Tool Sai for pixels and just regular art. For animating I use flipnote, and if not, I use gimp for piecing the animation together, like this Miku pixel. ^^

Haha I know what you mean. = u =~ You're in the middle of one little art project and you get the urge to do another one. End up going with the flow of creativity and in the end nothing gets finished. Lol!

That is exactly what happens! But sometimes I really want to work on something but my drawing motivation is so low that I just quit.

Ahhh. Yup, I know what you mean. Sometimes you just have those days where, even if you wanna do something, laziness or whatever else creeps up on you and just says "nope". Or drawing isn't even on your radar and you just wanna take a few days to chill and do something else.

Mm. Well I figure there's some degree of a learning curve with any program. So far I've only used PS for animation so I don't really know how complicated it is otherwise. xD But even for that my wife had to teach me the animation process step by step. Lol! Otherwise I've been using Sai since it has that easy linework layer. Only have a mouse so it helps me with my lines. * v *

Pretty, but my OCD can't help but notice this was jepeg before.
Try saving as png if you don't want the noise in places like the hair shading.

It was a jpeg before and I had to convert it in to a png so that it would be a gif. But, because of the weird program I have to use for the transparency, I have to do each picture before I put it in to the frame for animation. Because of this, I get weird static.
