FINALLY, I was working on re-rendering my weapons I drew earlier for nearly a year! It took me so long on account of my severe procrastination and ADHD, that and my sister keeps hogging the mac. So, here I am on my first laptop that basically drained my money, but I know it's worth it, which I got about a month or so ago.I have tried to make some of them practical, but I just thought they looked too cool to mess around with. I will make practical weapons as well, I just like both realistic and fantasy weapons of various types.
Anyway, here's a re-rendered and some redrawn update of my First Preview of Weapons , which is a huge difference in my opinion. Next up is either landscape or my character's ref sheets.

Thanks, I found a good way to render metals in 2D and I think it works out a lot better.

well what did u do it on i like to draw weapons bu i can never color them the way i want

I always use Flash Professional 8, using the line tool. I use the line tool to also render the lighting/shadows by creating the outline of where I want them, then filling it in with either a darker or lighter tint of the blade color. I strongly recommend getting another program to draw with, I noticed you use MS Paint. Flash is a good one, or anything really that uses what's called "vectors", they're pretty much smooth lines that stay smooth even if you zoom in and out.
I do see some potential in your existing pieces, which btw are pretty cool concepts, all you need to do is (sorry if this seems like HW, lol) research existing swords, examine the layout and design of each part of the sword, and that should point you in the right direction of coming up with a new design. I encourage you to take a look at how pieced my weapons together, and see if you can incorporate some of those ideas into your own.

nice set of weapons u have there man...im currently doing research myself on weapons for my game development classes... and youre right, who cares about practicality when they lookk so badass lol.. once i get done with mine ill put them up on DA..for now though.. I will keep admiring yours
