hehe, funny picture, i like the idea, the situation alone makes the drawing hilarious .. plus they way you coloured it is great as always, very unobtrusive, with textures to it, while being pastell-like and still strong enough to cover the paper below it, showing the effort put into your pictures very well. the perspective is nicely done too, and the bars not being really straight but bended gives this picture (as well as the huge yellow glowing eyes inside the dark dark box do) a comic-like feeling (last but not least that caged lion is really adorable, conveying cuteness looking confused, with those huge eyes and scrating itself on the hea..err cage). the scribbly lines especially on the seats are maybe a bit too dark, but i know how hard it is to get decent marker drawing (especially since ones is kinda limited in the choice of colours).
in fact, what is said for this picture, goes for pretty much all of your other pictures as well .. your drawings are awesome, starting with the concept and the lovable characters, managing to have a sketchy and "rough" feeling to it, while still looking like (very) completed pieces of work, the colouring being just the icing on the cake.
i'm digressing again .. so, to sum it up .. all in all, well coloured, nicely shaded (like one can see on the shadow the ring and the character cast, as well as on the character's hand, talk about personal highlights ) and - what is probably most important - refreshingly different.

I love the texture you get with the markers, especially in the oranges and reds of the foreground. It pulls your eye to the focal points and makes things seem alive. Very nice
