Thanks for proving that some kids DO care.
This means alot to me as my cousin (who is like a older sister to me) just got back from her 3rd time in Iraq.
Your poem was beautiful, and very sincere.
thanks again.

(I'm twenty, XD.)
I've always cared, ever since I was much younger and I've really wanted to do this. So I'm really glad that you loved this. I hope your cousin is able to stay home now.
Thank you for commenting and faving, Soli. I aim to please. <3

:,) This is touching.
Obviously, those girls were shallow -pardon my language- bitches. They should care at least a bit.
I'm ashamed to admit that, in my younger age, I can't truly understand or appreciate fully for these types of holidays. I do care to some point, in which I'll remember the hardships that our ancestors had to go through in order to form our current countries and society, but I doubt that I can appreciate enough for what has happened. Perhaps it's just my shallow personality, or the fact that I'm in the younger generation, but I hope to understand one day...

Thanks, Ikari. ^^
I'm certain you will. Try and read some more of the history of the war. I can give you a link to Red Sector 'A' as well. It tells a very tragic story about what it was like to be a prisoner in the form of a song.
