The Emergent-class carrier was built with the carrier role in mind and had no intention for battle but when FOR-115.0-4 found out that the Orion Spur Alliance was hunting down First Order Remnants out of hatred and spite they had to arm their ships much better than what they were originally meant to.

The Emergent-class carrier is an example of this increase of armament. The Emergent-class carrier was primarily meant to be a fighter carrier as well. It was always put on borderline patrol until the Second Remnant War broke out when this mighty carrier flew into action against the Valent Remnant when they invade First Order Remnant territory.
