The pilots of the I.C.G were originally just civilian pilots flying modified transports and shuttles to counter pirates in the 2820s, until the DSSC came and got involved in the early I.C.G began receiving proper pilot training. In the 2850s they managed to gain their own Spacefighters, which are pretty simple, but effective. The XM23 Firefly Spacefighter is simply armed with a single rotary gun and two missile launchers.

Until the introduction of the MX350-Wasp, the XM23 was the main Spacefighter, despite it clearly beginning to fail at some much needed roles. Especially ground support. This the MX350 succeeded at, while the XM23 failed, however it was not the end for the XM23, for it would be regulated to escort and routine patrols in safe areas, but also be given to the member states of the International Colonial Guard.

The I.C.G's pilots, which formed the International Aerospace Corps, in which they would fly all the transports, bombers, fighters and even being their helmsman for their capital ships, including their Outriders and Frigates.
