The finished commission piece for my friend ~Gubru of his character, Lobo, who is...well, a lobo. Which of course means WOLF
It might interest any of you to know that this was the first commission that I've created and completed in SAI, which I am now planning on using about 90% of the time. The only reason I ever need to go into Photoshop is for minor filter effects (such as the Grain/Noise effect or some other random little thing).
I wanted to do something for the background, and since winter has finally begun to relinquish its grasp on the poor state of Washington where I live, I thought it befitting to incorporate something to that effect into this image. Because everyone knows I like to draw snow in some way or other, but recently I have begun to enjoy drawing little fields too. I wanted to draw more plants, but...I figured I'd call it good and just leave it simple. Besides, there isn't even THIS many plants growing instantly when they snow melts. But whatever. It is symbolic. Springly-spring-time is coming!!!!!!
Critiques please, especially on the fur. I'm not going to change this image but I want to learn to do better in the future. Any comments, tips, or flames are welcome.
Lobo, thanks again for being so utterly patient with me when you asked for this picture. I take very long to draw, and you were nothing but understanding. You are a dear friend and anyone should be lucky to be on your list of close buds. For being my close bud, thank you

Don't waste your time asking for it to be taken down. I tried for a week. I suggest reporting it outright and double check their gallery to make sure there's nothing else of yours.

I really like the texture of the fur, great work on that! The shadowing and paws are really good as well. Can't actually find anything to critique in this!

i would like to ask you something and (i would like to point out that i will not take your draws but i've been wanting to do this for a long time and in my school those that i've asked didn't say anything back so i had to come here)
let's say i take a photo of your art work and i were to put it in my profile for people see how would you feel and what would you say would you yell at me for taking ur art work and what would you tell me first and what would be the first thing that comes to mind would you just yell at me would you say bad things (AND AGAIN I'M NOT GOING TO DO THAT I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE PEOPLE THINK/ME I WANT TO KNOW JUST FOR FUN)

I think it would be weird if it was a picture that was drawn for someone else, because you'd basically have someone else's character on your profile. Other than that, I wouldn't care and might not say anything Β at all (unless you were telling people you were the artist).
