Description
The civil guard, also known as the brown guard, was a unit created to protect civilians from several different planets that were part of the galactic republic.
This guard was created to maintain security on planets where the rate of crimes and terrorism was higher than normal.
During their first weeks, the clones that formed the civil guard were tasked with the extremination of all violent gangs, all mafias and other criminal groups from the planets of the republic, in addition to having also dealt with and exterminated some rebellions that supported the separatist alliance.
This guard quickly received a great deal of respect and recognition from the civilians, who saw the brown guard as a savior, since after this guard was created the crime rates had suffered a very impressive decrease, thanks to them planets that used to be considered dangerous had become safe.
This guard was also present at the low levels of Coruscant, maintaining order and peace.
During the battle of Coruscant, this guard was tasked with evacuating civilians to safe havens and protecting them from the various droids that spread terror and destruction throughout Coruscant.
During order 66 this guard was charged with guarding the streets of Coruscant and looking for and eliminating any traitorous jedi or sympathizers of the Jedi, during that time all Coruscant civilians were forced to remain inside the house, all those who were outside home would be arrested and taken for questioning to ensure that they were not sympathizers of the Jedi.
After the formation of the empire, this guard continued to exist and did the same thing it did during the clone wars, but this time the civil guard would be made up of non-clone humans.
