Pansypaw heard the brothers come closer, and Raggedpaw's words seemed to finalize her feelings. She had been, for a long time, reverent of her father. Since coming here she had slowly started to notice everything that he had done that simply wasn't okay. He had, for lack of a better term, abused her, and though she didn't hate him- she could never hate him- she was starting to feel that she had never really liked him all that much.

As the tears made dark streaks on her cheeks, she sat and curled her tail around herself, rubbing the back of her paw against her face. "I-I'm sorry..." she muttered, hating it when she became emotional- which seemed to be rather often, unfortunately. She hiccuped and shook her head, lowering her ears against the back of her head.

"It's j-just that.. y-you g-guys.. are so nice to m-me... a-and...." she sniffled, "W-well, I always t-thought that I l-loved my d-dad and that he.. that he l-loved me t-t-too.... b-but..." she shook her head. Her father may have very well loved her, but... she had never really loved him. Not since... so, not since the night that he had hurt her more than with his claws or with his words. "You guys.... I.. I really love you guys.." she said, shaking her head.

Both of the brothers were touched in their own way about Pansypaw admitting her love. Of course they knew she meant it like siblings, but it was a strong bond nonetheless, and neither of the toms had felt like that with anyone else. Raggedpaw had always yearned for acceptance, ever since his mother had abandoned him all hose moons ago, and this was a sign that he was not unloveable, and that a cat would willingly stand by him (other than Jaggedpaw).

Jaggedpaw had never really formed a bond this strong, not even with his friend from Moonclan. He knew Pansypaw was a good, honest cat who always looked out for others before herself. The brown tabby also almost was willing to share his secret with her, but if he couldn't tell Raggedpaw, then he couldn't tell anyone. But he still trusted the black she-cat with his life, and that was a big sign.

"I love you too," Raggedpaw said, his voice was shaky with emotion.

Panspaw's words meant the world to the dark tabby tom.

"Me too," Jaggedpaw murmured, for once his voice held conviction, "you are like a littermate to us."

Pansypaw looked over to the two toms, a small smile coming to her muzzle before she stepped forwards and pushed her muzzle into both of their pelts in turn. She couldn't seem to find any words, but felt as though she ought not search. s though words would tear this fragile moment in two, rendering it innate within the space around them. They would disappear together into the nothingness that wasn't reality.

Pansypaw wrapped her long tail around both of the brothers, a small laugh escaping her as a thought came to her. It might be a morbid thought, but it was there nonetheless. Her stillborn brother with two heads- they might've been twins at some point- meant that she had always had brothers, but now... it was as though he had come back to life with these two. It was very strange indeed, though she didn't want to dwell on the thought too long else she'd start feeling sick to her stomach, and to add that to her list of problems at the moment might as well have knocked her out.

They stayed like that for a while, simply basking in eachother before Pansypaw decided to risk breaking the moment and spoke. "Thank you." she said softly, her ears back almost sheepishly.
