With the clan empty and the other cats in the nursery fast asleep, Redkit finds himself at the mouth of the den, staring out into the snow as it continues to pile up. Everything is so quiet, even to the point where the wind does not blow and no birds sing. Everything is muffled and soft- peaceful and erie.

He finds himself loving the quiet peace, and wonders why it's so appealing, just being alone.

A small idea make's it's way into his mind.

Redkit's assignment!! I really enjoyed doing this- it was so fun. I love my red bby and I think it's about time for things to get better for him. His apprenticeship is going to be better than his kithood and that I'm going to make sure of!
