Okay so
OMGpiku and I both made Gemsonas for our characters in TWG, and, as the two of us talk about the relationship between Pecanpaw and Sweetpaw quite a bit, we started talking about the topic of fusion between their gemsonas, which brought quite a few questions that fusion brings. Of course, one of the only reasons they would fuse would be to protect someone, and so they would go into it without thinking too much- after all, for one to protect someone else, there must be a dire response to that sort of thing. Anyway, we got to talking about how hidden Sweetpaw is- she hides every emotion that she has- or doesn't have- and in fusion, she would, of course, lose herself and become part of a larger whole. However, even if a fusion is greater than the sum of their parts, the parts are still there.

Sweetpaw's intense, consuming hatred of herself, as well as her overwhelming pride would come forth- would be seen and felt by another person. Which, after the fusion was over, would terrify her beyond belief, seeing as she was always this happy, carefree individual, or at least, that was what she portrayed. Additionally, she would likely feel true compassion for the first time. Being part of another would mean that she would not only witness it, but, even in some small part, she would experience it. Which would be her first time feeling anything of the sort. Anything pure and positive, which would likely also be overwhelming. She would be able to see how defective she was on a whole new level, and she would experience what being whole felt like.

Pecanpaw was always a cat that caught her interest in one way or another, and though they have their differences, the two of them get along without too much strife. Sweetpaw, in a way, leans on Pecanpaw for a sense of normalcy- any that she can get. Which, of course, makes them the perfect pair to fuse, even if it's just for the use of their combined size and strength. Which then leads to the scene you see here.

Also, this was supposed to have shading, but... I did not do that. Because I think it looks fine without it and I've gotten to the point where it's not fun to work on it anymore.
