The reason why I started doing these Mario Style art is because I was so excited for/ loved the Super Mario Bros movie but I just couldnt think of anything for fanart. Until I realized why don't I draw the poster itself entirely in the 2D mario style! So I went right to work and tried to emulate the character designs and style as much as I could. The real hard part was the background because there's just so little actual 2D artwork I could fine that incorporates backgrounds in them, but I think it came out great.Related content
