Founded by Morning Forest , The very first christmas tree contest on Equestria starts. In this contest, participants decide:

- How their tree is gonna be made of
- Which themed decorations they're gonna use
- Describe what represents to them

The contest qualifies the tree's design, presentation, originality, and description, the contestants and their trees are:

- The Monster Six (Soirée Haunter , Trey Treasure , Count Bloodcula , Voltica Stitch , Aqua Shelly , and Crimson Howler ):

Their tree has a special name known as "Hallowsmas tree", because of the mixture between Halloween and Christmas, it's a dead pine tree, covered in wreaths with lights, jack o lanterns as glowing ornaments, all of it gathered by a spiderweb string, and a gold-painted mace in the top as the star of their tree.

- Jikan and Kenji :

Their tree is a natural one, is decorated with their old Christmas ornaments with shapes of Lucky Cats, Paper Fans, Lanterns and wind furins, and is surrounded by a golden and crimson ribbon, the star is yellow paper, made after origami. The tree shows their nationality and how it represents Neighpon.

- The Artists 3 (Princess Plasma Stream , Screech and Graveyard Grim ):

Their tree is a natural one, It represents their ability for a special art they have; Screech put ornaments with the comedy and tragedy masks, representing his hobby to theater. Grim put music note shaped paper trimmings representing his like to music. and Plasma put a beautiful pink fabric surrounding the tree, representing her love for fashion mode, they three agreed to buy the star on a shop.

- Tikka Sunrise and Morning Forest :

Their tree is 100% made of recycled plastic bottles, gathered by a wire and the star is made after cardboard, and a wreath made after black plastic bags, the papers that surround the tree are recycled paper and have been written with wishes; they say that the ponies have the permission to write any wish and stick it to their tree. It also glows in the dark thanks to a light spell Forest casted over it.

- Magna Fashion and Professor Jolt :

Their tree is made after technology, is an holographic tree created by Jolt, projected by a portable disc, not only the tree is projected, the colorful lights around are projected as well, the ornaments are gears that Argus Kaiser gifted them, these gears are levitating thanks to an electromagnetic system that the same holographic tree makes them float and spin around it, in the point has a Tesla Coil that projects a plasma made star.

Personally, they're all winners, I really love how each one of them made their trees
