STARDUST
Tristan: [to Yvaine] Oh, excuse me, madam, sorry, this may see strange but, have you seen a fallen star anywhere?
[she laughs bitterly]
Tristan: No, really. We’re in a crater, this must be where it fell.
Yvaine: [sarcastically] Yeah, this where it fell. It is, or if you want to be really specific, up there
[pointing to the sky]
Yvaine: is where this weird bloody necklace
[she shows him the necklace around her neck]
Yvaine: came out of nowhere and knocked it out of the heavens where it was minding its own business. And over there is where it landed. And right here, *this* is where it got hit by a magical flying MORON!
Tristan: *You’re* the star? You’re the star? Really? Oh, wow! I’m sorry, I had no idea you’d be a… Oh, I, may I just say in advance that I’m sorry.
[Tristan takes out the enchanted chain and ties it around Yvaine’s wrist]
Tristan: Now, if I’m not mistaken this means you have to come with me. You’re going to be a birthday gift for Victoria, my true love.
Yvaine: [sarcastically] But of course! Nothing says “romance” like the gift of a kidnapped injured woman! I’m not going anywhere with you!

I’ve been wanting to do this idea for a while. Weeeeell, I mean I sent out the idea into Tumblr prompt space and then realized, “look, you can draw. Why don’t you just do it?”
So I did. 
And YAY for fudging clothing details!
I actually made this comic before the other one ( shahrezad1.deviantart.com/art/… ), so I guess you could say that this was the precursor to the other idea. XD Just another Stardust crossover, this time involving Kili and Tauriel, in which, "she walks in moonlight," becomes a little literal.

I think a lot of it as well is that I've been stressed lately, as all this year (2013) I've been packing up 95% of my things in preparation for a move and now a religious proselyting mission. The sense of urgency has been lost amid the pressure of other responsibilities.
I am truly sorry. *sighs sadly* I can't guarantee that I'll pick up on it again, either, given that I'm not sure where my notes are. :S

Sorry, let me clarify. 
This is usually done in a location other than where the individual lives, unless they are physically unable to leave their homes due to medical reasons--then they are able to do a service mission.
Before leaving the potential missionary has to ready themselves--physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Then they are interviewed for worthiness before submitting their documents in order to find out where they are going.
I've finalized all my paperwork and have had one of two interviews necessary. After that I just have to wait for my "call," ie where I'm going. It's pretty exciting!

I agree with your Legolas comment, though. O__o! I was thinking to myself the entire time, "well, he must be young for him to be such an idiot. >_<" But it certainly explains his awesomeness from the original LOTR trilogy, given that he's already had some experience with heroic Dwarves and Hobbits (despite the stigmas otherwise).
That line, I swear. XD I was snorting with laughter when he said it, and then outright guffawing at Tauriel's response.

And when you think about it....Legy met Gimli's father. Threw him in a jail....how awkward would that be later on in his travels with Gimli?! I mean....really.
Just one night over the father. "Oh my father was Gloin! A great dwarf!" "Oh yes, I think I remember him!" "What!?" "Yeah....he trespassed in our lands. I and my kin saved him from horrible spiders and chucked his arse in the dungeon for being in our forest!"
When you go out on your mission you should keep super good track of your journey, and then use it to make your own "Hobbits Tale"
Except..ya know....not starting in a hole in the ground lol.
When you do leave though, will you still have internet (depending where you go?) or are you going to be away from everything for the year?

As for your internet question--sort of. XD I can send emails to the family and friends once a week and can have an official facebook page so that people can track the events in my "journey" but I won't be able to go to any other webpages, like DA or Tumblr.
